John Nissen

John Nissen is a famous Danish sculptor. Until approx. 1998 his molds were only available in a  (26”-28") size and were licensed to Otto Lindeman gmbh of Germany. Both 26" and 28" dolls use the same molds and it is only the body that creates the difference.

Lindeman’s ceased business in 1999 and for several years Nissen molds were not produced. Then, In approx. 2004 Seeleys began distributing Nissen molds, but only in the smaller 56cm (22”) size. Molds to make the larger dolls have not been available since approx. 2001
